A concept in form.
A house of objects that hold a thesis. First the idea, then the body.
The first work of the house
Michael
Edition I · Copper finish
Mikha’el : Quis ut Deus. Who is like God?
Why it stands this way
Michael holds the line.
The spear, in the right hand, discerns and directs. The shield, in the left, contains and keeps the center.
Underfoot, the force that wanted the throne. It is not destroyed; it is held to measure, and then it serves.
Quis ut Deus.
Who is like God? The question that orders the world.
Nothing in the figure is foreign to it. What was given is kept and governed, not cut away.
Protection is not passive. It is the will that keeps chaos in its place.
Design is how it is made. Iconology is why it is standing that way.
The object
Made to be held
Michael is assembled piece by piece. The figure is formed in an advanced polymer over an iron core, chosen because it keeps fine detail without losing it: the edge of each feather, the scale of the dragon, the inscription legible on the shield.
The copper finish is applied by hand, layer by layer, until the light finds the relief.
It rests on a solid wood base under a glass dome. The dome is not a vitrine; it is a limit. It keeps the figure and marks where it ends.

The house
Muse and Youssef. The muse is sent; the form is given.
A house that edits objects with a thesis. The idea comes first; the object is what remains of it.
Each work begins as a reading, of history, of art, of the mind, and ends as an object that can be kept.
Designed by Omar Youssef, industrial designer.
